Pakistan's strong commitment to social development and compliance is deeply rooted in its severe vulnerability to climate change. As a nation on the frontlines of climate-related challenges, Pakistan recognizes that sustainable development and adherence to global standards are crucial not only for the well-being of its citizens but also for building resilience against the escalating impacts of climate change. This commitment is reflected in its efforts to integrate social development goals with environmental protection, ensuring that the country's progress is both inclusive and sustainable. Pakistan's textile sector, the country's largest manufacturing industry and its primary source of employment, plays a crucial role in driving economic growth and development Recently, there has been a notable shift towards integrating ESG principles into business practices within this sector.
