The Textile and Apparel Policy 2020-2024 set ambitious export targets, projecting exponential
export growth (up to USD 40 billion) by FY 2024-25. The annual textile export projections for the last
textile policy period (FY21 to FY24) were as follows: US$ 20 billion, US$ 25 billion, US$ 31 billion,
and US$ 40 billion, respectively.
